The Dream
Before Beginnings Birth Services started as a dream to change the way we care for our mothers carrying the future generations. My Doula and shower services are only the beginning of what I hope to achieve in my lifetime surrounding everything birth. I believe everything you do before the birth of baby, is just as important as everything you do after, and the birth itself is a sacred precious time that needs to be cared for and talked about as such. So I made it my mission almost three years ago, to be the change I want to see in the world. And my services to you, is where I will start.
The Poem
Before Beginnings

Before the pain, the tears, the smiles.
Before the weighing, the footprints, and passing around.
Before that first picture and first time hearing their heartbeat;
Remember peace.
They will have a lifetime full of drama and stress;
If only just for 9 months, give them peace.
Give them dreams and smiles.
Sleep and time.
Let them grow slow; They'll be grown before you know-
It seems so insignificant but they're human too. Before they come into this world, show them what it feels like to-
Be at peace in this world; Even when this world is at war.
Let them feel love in its purest form. Let them feel the true energy of this world before it's contaminated by images and actions they won't ever unsee... unfeel. Just let them be...
At peace. And you...Just breath. Before the beginning of this journey; Remember the importance of Before Beginnings...

The Beginning
In December of 2018, I decided to change my career plans, abandon the norm, and follow my dreams. I finished my fourth semester of University, and immediately began planning Before Beginnings. I didn't know how it was going to work out, where it would take me, or what I was really doing... I just knew I needed to follow my heart. I wrote the poem Before Beginnings in 2016 when I first decided I wanted to start a company all about birth, and as I prepared myself to completely immerse myself in this career, I decided I wanted to begin this journey, with the words that spoke to me first.
